During Aug 18 - Aug 19, MYP office hosted the Team Building event in Biocountry Resort, in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. Our buddies who were used to the city life in Shanghai shared their experience and discussed the future. We got together and cooperated with each other, challenged ourselves constantly, and achieved self-breakthrough.

On January 12th, the MYP Maibo Annual Meeting with the theme of “Returning to 1980” was successfully held in Shanghai Joy City. The colleagues at the Shanghai headquarters attended the annual event with joy.

The 8th anniversary of MYP China was successfully held on December 14, 2018. The event not only included the wine exchanges that were easy and comfortable, but also the “Industry Hotspots and Practice Sharing” salon event. The three guests shared an amazing event. In the cold meal session, there are more exquisite dishes, cups and crossovers, friends from all directions, and happy exchanges.

The 2018 MYP company vacation has come to a joyous conclusion. Our hardworking team formed two groups and went to different travel destinations for an annual dose of cultural immersion and design investigation.

On September 26, 2018, the MYP Lecture Series welcomed Ms Xiaoyan Chen, who brought her invaluable experience on planning, implementation and artwork selection of the Suzhou Center.

On September 8th, the world-renowned Color Run™ was once again held in Senlan Greenland ! Following last year's color run, MYP 's young designers also participated in the happiest 5km on earth.

On June 29, the MYP Lecture Series welcomed esteemed speaker Mr. Di Zheng, who received his doctorate in urban planning from Tongji University, and is currently the Chief Investment Officer of Country Garden Group. He shared a rich experience in environmental design, and his personal thoughts on using urban computing to predict future pattern in landscape design and development.

From July 15th to 16th, the entire team from MYP enjoyed a summer excursion to the mountains and participated in a series of team-building activities.

On May 16th, MYP Lecture Series was honored to welcome Mr. Bowei Lai to share his research on “Parasitic Temples” in Taipei, presenting an eye-opening collection of studies conducted by the WillipodiA urban research team. The research process transcended banal academic studies, offering glimpses and reflection on what it means to be a designer, a citizen of earth and its myriad cultures.

On February 6, 2018, the company team-building event organized in Ningbo by MYP’s local office was held successfully in a resort by Dongqian Lake.

On February 5th, the MYP Annual Party was successfully held at the Qianhu Resort in Ningbo, where everyone dressed up and reveled to the theme “a Night of Time Traveling”.  As the old lunar year draws to a close, MYP ushers in the new year full of hope and in anticipation of more challenges. The firm looks to join hands with business partners and outstanding peers to accumulate experience in practice.

The MYP annual travel learning of 2017 came to a successful conclusion. Employees were divided into two teams to experience different destinations.

On September 23rd, The Color Run™ 2017 Dream Tour made its fourth stop in China, holding the much-anticipated event in Shanghai Pudong’s Waigaoqiao Senlan Green Land. One of the world's most popular themed runs, The Color Run ™ advocates a healthy lifestyle, fusing enjoyment and personality into their events. This year, The Color Run Dream Tour aims to unveil a spectacular journey for runners across the globe.

On July 7, MYP welcomed Design Union and founding partners Ms. Ping Zhu and Mr. JP, who spoke about commercial interior design and implementation in recent years. Their presentation was followed by enthusiastic discussion on trends and innovation in designing commercial spaces.

The annual MYP New Year Celebration was held on January 24 of this year in the firm’s Shanghai office. This year’s celebration themed “Reunion”, offered homemade Chinese dumplings as the main course. Games, exchange gifts and an exciting raffle rounded up the evening’s festivities.  

On 23rd December, MYP warming-house party and China's sixth anniversary was successfully held at Building 11 KIC. At“Design Practice & Hot Topics Sharing ”salon, three guests gave us wonderful talks. And people perform relaxed and happy at the house warming party.

On 14th Nov., Prof. Martin de Jong from Delft University of Technology and Fudan University talked about the planning and policy aspects of eco city development in China.

In August, 2016, MYP design team officially moved to stylish KIC, MYP sincerely welcome friends and colleagues inside and outside the industry to visit and to give exchanges.

On 13th May, 2016, College of Art and Design, Tongji University,Art Director of AECOM creative design team, master planning group Mr. Zuo Mingzhi will share with us the topic named as ‘place branding’.

On 29th January, 2016 MYP Annual Dinner-Linghou Xianrui is on progress. The annual meeting is themed as ‘retro’, including modern shows, presents exchanges and lucky 2016. Let’s look forward to it!

On 4th December, 2015, Associate Professor of Landscape, Tongji University, Dong Nannan will share with us the topic themed as ‘from cultural park to park culture: culture landscape based on the modern mass culture.’

On July 24th 2015, LNT Ecological Studio Director and LNT Sponsor & Planner Li Ke will share with us the practice and exploration of multi-party participation and seamless park construction. LNT environment idea provided us with one kind of multi-participation path to rebuild the linkages between humans and nature.

On July 3, Shannon Bassett, who is the professor in the College of Architecture and Urban Planning in the State University of New York, visited MYP and shared with us 7 urban design cases that she once participated in. It’s about the relationships among urban architecture, open space and human beings, and about the relationships between the natural systems and human urban space.

In June 19th 2015, Teacher of Architecture and Urban Planning College of Tongji University, the sponsor of Four-Leaf Clover Hall Liu Yue Lai will share with us the topic of ‘natural education and landscape design practice’.

On the 22nd May, Founding Partner of BEHG Mr. Feng Jie will take us closer to 22 @ district, exploring the highly innovative new space opportunity of the city.. Barcelona 22 @ district is the new compact city, the original 22 @ district industrial heritage is properly protected, and retained 114 architectural elements.

2015 MYP Overseas Internship Program started the kick-off, we plan to recruit a certain number of overseas interns  from Harvard University, University of Toronto and other famous universities, through strict resume screening, SKYPE interviews and so on to select three students for 2-3months internship

On the 15th April., Professor Huding of Tongji University Sustainable Development Institute will give us an idea feast, enjoying with us the topic named as ‘Urban Characteristics And Waterfront Built’. He will demonstrate the city features of waterfront belt, and with Sichuan Meishan and Shandong Zhaozhuang case studies to analyze the waterfront built.

MYP New-edition website is officially going online. It changes a lot from the form, function and structure, and the interface design and experiences are more delicate and humane.

In March 2015, the first volume of the MYPOINT monograph officially published, involving ‘Waterfront Construction Special Subject’, ‘Topic Comments’, ‘Senior People Interview’, ‘City Essays’, ‘Vibrant Life’ original contents. It’s about critical thinking and point review and record, and also about the important precipitation result of firm development.

On the 16th Mar., the Senior Manager Liu Xingquan and the Technology Director Wang Haobo in the DuPont (China)   will tell us about several complicated node designs in the projects, and show the art and craft similar to the site scene.

On 13rd Feb. 2015, 2014 MYP Annual Dinner-Golden Sheep & Bai Hua Award was held successfully. Chinese Happy New Year is coming, and we started the journey home, we’re looking forward to next year’s efforts and works.

On 13rd Feb. 2015, MYP 2014 MYP Annual Dinner-Golden Sheep& Bai Hua Award is going to start off. The annual party is themed as ‘Golden Sheep& Bai Hua Award’, styled as fashion, misery, happiness and luckiness, showing individual characters and also relaxing ourselves.

On 30th Jan. 2015, Eio Roger explores the topic ‘the Construction of Eco-city’ with us. The Topic is about discovering how Urban development is moving in China in the next 20-30 years. The effects of rapid development affecting built cities along the coast and how the west ward development is going to be affected and what it could be.

On 26th Dec. Landscape Design Director of JTP Fu Kai will share with us the topic of ‘2008-2014 exploration trip’. It begins with the introductions of two chief designers in Gustafson Porter, and elaborates the understanding of modern minimalism and experienced landscape design. Please look forward to it.

After the North America Case Study Trip Symposium of 5th December 2014, the next day MYP team went to Shibo, Xuhui Waterfront and Waitan Yuan led by Director Yu, Wuwei and  Zhang weifeng.

On 5th December 2014, the first phase of North America Case Study Trip Symposium was held as scheduled. We expected it for so long and it started the kick-off seminar with Director Yu’s wonderful speaking themed as Nine Principles Of Waterfront Landscape. And Mr. Zhang weifeng told us the differences between home and abroad, and inspire us to think about it.

On 5th December, MYP will hold the Northern Waterfront Construction Study Symposium themed as Landscape As The Agent Of Urban Transformation, five subjects separately interpreted by the study group member. In addition, the discussion section is set for us to put forward the related landscape puzzle during the projects.

On 20th November, 2014 MYP’s love in Tibet temporarily came to an end, we’re expecting no coldness in winter and love is always there.

In March 2014, the first issue of MYP Landscape magazine was published. It’s themed as landscape solutions in the Inner Mongolia region through elaborating climate geomorphic features and landscape construction dilemma in the northern China.

On 25th January 2014, MYP Annual Meeting gradually countdowns. It definitely benefited a lot from many employees’ useful opinions. Themed as I Do, I Show, typed with various activities, styled funny and charmed fashion, really deserves to be waited to see what will happen.

On 25th January 2014, MYP Office (Shanghai) and Ningbo branch gathered together for a happy annual meeting. Higher-ups show happens to appear exciting frequencies. With warm gift exchanges and exciting lottery awards activities, there are full highlights.

In Dec. 2013, MYP (Ningbo) Inc. was established, which is the inevitable trend of business development, and also one step of  future strategy. MYP will stride more robust towards future.

On 26th October 2013, the three days’ 2013 China Society Of Landscape Architecture Annual Meeting kicked off the prelude in Huazhong Agricultural University, Director Yu  attended it and make the opening speech with Professor Edward H. Fife as a translator.

In June 2013, the HulunBuir municipal Party committee arranged for construction surveys of major cities in the USA and CANADA, MYP accompanied with them on the case studies.

On 15th Wednesday 2013, Think out of Box Training Camp organized by Oasis International Design Think Tank officially started the kick-off meeting in the Nanjing Gourong Project site. MYP attended THINK OUT OF BOX DESIGN TRAINING CAMP.

Filled with excitement and joy, MYP 2012 annual vacation work camp kicked off, the three days’ Su-Xi trip started. We're all in the boundless lingering with the  professional team building and happy meals.

On 11th March 2012, MYP organized all the staffs to visit Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, a day trip to figure out the artistic natural atmosphere, to relax the moods, and meanwhile through the study tour to improve the professional knowledge.

In October 2011, MYP officially settled in Shanghai Loft Center which marks a new step of independent development, different professional and knowledge backgrounds constitute the company’s multi-creative cultural atmosphere.

In July 2011, MYP team went out for an Annual Summer Tour in Mount Huangshan. We figured out the true experiences of traveler, and back to work with not only the relaxed moods, but also the inspire of the resorts’ design.

MYP Office Inc. entered the mainland China market since 2010, and establish the Shanghai Inc. Office in July, which is settled at the Guokang Road Planning Building.
