The Resilient Riverfront Design of The Kowloon Bund in Chongqing | Chongqing

The scheme takes ecological and humanities as the starting point, and takes Chongqing City, Huanggeshu as the design concept, and promotes the city to the water with the momentum of resilience and vitality. The program is dedicated to building a world-class “resilient city” waterfront and building a century-long project that will benefit future generations. In response to the “four belts” strategic objectives of the municipal party committee, we proposed a project vision of “returning to the Yangtze River – making the two rivers and the four sides re-established as the main axis of urban development”. And in-depth interpretation of the four major functions: the ecological as the basis, the recreation as the function, the culture as the soul, the landscape as the image. Through the use of the "three-way" system, the "bridge ladder" system and the control of the falling zone, the overall system of the landscape system on the north bank of the Yangtze River is shaped.
